Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American singer-actress. She is most famous for the role of Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012) in addition to Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). She also played the main part of Jerrica Jem Betnton on the film Jem and the Holograms (2005). Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. There is also an older sister, Ally. Aubrey was a part of Orlando Repertory Theatre ten years during her youth. She was a graduate of Lake Mary Preparatory School, where she delivered the valedictory of the class of 2012. Harvard University admitted her, however, she was required to vote to her admission the second time because of her Nashville role. Peeples was a guest on Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and had a recurring role in Necessary Roughness (1991). She appeared on television as a character in Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective 2009 as well as The Good Mother. She was a major player for the Nashville series, where she appeared as Layla Grant. Peeples talked about her bipolar condition in an interview for NKD Magazine. Indiewire included Peeples among the top actors under twenty years old aged in September 2014.
